Ironing
If you want to iron something, you will find a small travel iron with a small ironing board in the locker on the second floor
Check-In
Check-in is from 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us. We will let you know as soon as your room is ready!
Check-Out
The rooms are available until 10:15 am on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible subject to availability and at an extra charge. Please ask us for this option at least 1 day before departure.
Coworking
Are you here on business? As our advertising agency is located in the building, we are happy to provide you with some office supplies. (Punch, stapler, cutter etc.) Printing on request.
Furnishings
We have lovingly selected all the furnishings in the rooms. Some of the items can be purchased in the foyer, and we are also happy to provide information on where we have sourced our furnishings etc. Please leave all items in the rooms when you leave. We will charge you for any missing items. Should something break, please let us know ... we will find a solution.
First aid kit
On the second floor you will find a first aid kit and spare materials in the white locker.
Television
Always informed: Each room is equipped with a TV including international satellite TV channels & radio programs.
Fire
Keep calm. In an emergency, please inform us immediately and leave the building.

You will find small fire extinguishers in the apartments and a foam fire extinguisher in the foyer.
Hair dryer
We don't have a "Bad Hair Day", just a GHD - "Good Hair Day".
You will find a hairdryer from this brand in the bathroom of every vacation apartment.

Pets/Dogs
Pets are very welcome and can be booked via the hotel's own website during the booking process. A small welcome package awaits your four-legged friend.
Additional info: In St. Wolfgang, leashes are compulsory everywhere. You are sure to hear our Mick, Australian Shepherd, from time to time (a loudmouth like his namesake Mick Jagger). But you will never find him unobserved or off the lead. This is what we would also like to see from our visitors.

Children
There are several accommodations in St. Wolfgang that specialize in families and are specifically geared towards their needs.
The Balthasar Volcano has made it its particular goal to cater to the needs of adults. Rest and relaxation are our top priority. In addition, our facilities and outdoor area are not suitable for children.
(Our concept is in no way to be understood as discrimination against families. We are just not equipped for it).

Kitchen
Our kitchens are equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. They are also well stocked with pots and pans from Schulte Ufer, cooking equipment from Joseph and Joseph, crockery*, cutlery and glasses.
* The tableware and cups are made from recycled clay (in Portugal) from the factory's production lines. This avoids the production of a new raw material and reduces the ecological footprint.

Waste disposal
In order to be able to recycle as much of the waste as possible and produce as little residual waste as possible, we ask you to dispose of waste separately. You will find a waste separation system in every kitchen under the sink.

You will find large waste garbage cans behind the heat pump by the main entrance.

Smoking
You can smoke in front of the covered entrance area and on your balcony. All our rooms are non-smoking. We ask you to accept this. A cleaning fee (depending on the effort) will be deducted from the deposit if you smoke again

Cleaning
You have probably also seen the final cleaning fee in your offer. For stays of one week or more, we are happy to carry out an intermediate cleaning on request. If you would like additional cleaning, please let us know. We will be happy to commission this. The price will be charged according to actual expenditure

Restaurants
Go out? Eat in? We are happy to give you recommendations for restaurants. After all, you are in a culinary stronghold in St Wolfgang.
If you do feel like cooking yourself but don't have anything in the fridge, you can either shop locally at ADEG or pick up a few essentials from our supply corner.
Damage
We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and to ensure that fellow travelers and relatives comply with the rental conditions.
If something should nevertheless break, we ask you to inform us ... we will find a solution.
When leaving the apartment, the front door, windows and balcony door must be well locked to avoid possible damage due to burglary or storm damage.
(Any damage must be reported before departure or immediately. This can significantly reduce the amount of damage, as we can intervene immediately and thus prevent consequential damage).

We use an automated access system that automatically sends you the access code to our house and the apartment by e-mail 3 days before arrival, if this is not the case please contact us in good time.

Deep freezer
The freezer is located in your refrigerator.
Drinking water
The tap water is top drinking water quality and can be drunk without hesitation.
Please avoid buying PET bottles as far as possible.
We will be happy to add CO2 to your tap water, just ask us.
Environmental protection
We use energy and water sensibly, avoid or separate waste, use renewable raw materials and environmentally friendly products, we do not support animal suffering - neither with food, furnishings or building materials - and therefore have a very low carbon footprint.
We take our responsibility for our environment very seriously and strive to achieve improvements in all areas in order to preserve a beautiful and healthy landscape for future generations. But clean air, clear water and healthy food also need your support!

We can offer you this through the company Maherndl Bad Ischl. If available, you are also welcome to use the in-house washing machine.

Please let us know if you discover a dripping tap or a leaking toilet flush and use the water carefully (e.g. turn off the water when brushing your teeth or shaving, use the toilet stop, etc.).
